Joe Jackson's childhood rebellions against punk music, enevitably helped him bring the sounds of New Wave to the US coastlines.  As a result, dancers, clubs and funny hair cuts around the world are forever grateful to him. 

And the inner asymmetrical hair cut inside of us here at Filter wanted to thank Mr. Jackson by allowing him to choose only 8 of his favorite albums of the year.  Now that's gratitude!
