Luna Completes New Album and Galaxie 500 DVD

Luna have completed recording their new album, Rendezvous. Jetset Records will release the CD on September 28 and the group will go on tour in October and November.

In addition, on June 29 new independent DVD label and film studio Plexifilm will release a 2-disc DVD entitled Don’t Let Our Youth Go To Waste, documenting the history of Galaxie 500, which was Luna singer/guitarist Dean Wareham's previous band. It includes an anthology of all their music videos, a rare TV appearance and over 40 songs performed live, which have been chosen personally by the band.

Among these performances are the original song “Buzz In My Head” and a live rendition of Jonathan Richman’s “Back In Your Life,” both of which were previously unreleased. Also included is a booklet containing photos and an interview with all three members conducted by Yo La Tengo’s James McNew.
