The Music to Tour North America

The acclaimed British rockers known as the Music are returning to North America with a tour in support of their upcoming sophmore album. Welcome to the North, the follow-up to 2003's self-titled debut, hits stores October 19, via Capitol Records. The tour begins in New York City with a headlining gig at Webster Hall, and includes dates in support of Velvet Revolver, Sonic Youth, in additon to a three week stint with Incubus.

The Leeds four-piece burst onto the British music scene in 2002; a 2003 stateside release, followed by a North American tour with Coldplay introduced the Music to American audiences. The debut single from Welcome to the North, "Freedom Fighters," is currently in rotation on alternative rock radio stations.
