Wilco to Play New Year's Eve Party in NYC

Wilco is set to perform with the Flaming Lips and Sleater-Kinney on New Year’s Eve at Madison Square Garden in New York. 2004 saw the release of Wilco’s A Ghost Is Born on Nonesuch Records, which debuted at #8, as well as lead singer Jeff Tweedy’s recovery from his addiction to pain-killers. On November 15, Wilco will release their book, The Wilco Book, a collection of writings, photos, and art that includes a CD of twelve tracks of as yet unreleased music. Tickets to the New Year’s Eve Show will go on sale November 1 on Music Today, and November 5 for the general public on Ticketmaster.
