Raise your hand if you know what to call a person from Liverpool? If you guessed “Liverpudlian,” then you’d probably know that this borough has been home to the musical genius of both The Beatles and Echo and the Bunnymen.

But while the Beatles have gone their separate ways, Ian McCulloch and company are nine albums into their career and still going strong. Their latest masterpiece, a new album entitled Siberia, is a work spanning roughly 26 years of music that has influenced the likes of Coldplay, The Verve, and Interpol.

For the umpteenth time, the release date for Siberia has been pushed back, now to late this September. However, exclusive track samplings have been made available at Echo & The Bunnymen Official Site.
