Filter's Top 10 of 2005, Day Sixteen: Gilles Peterson
by Staff & Gilles Peterson | 00.00.0000

DJ, label owner, and voice of the acclaimed BBC Radio 1, Gilles Peterson has specialized a genre known as acid jazz. Peterson championed some landmark releases under his labels Talkin' Loud and...well, Acid Jazz Records, putting out albums for 4Hero, Jamiroquai, Reprazent (Roni Size), MJ Cole, and a drove others. His tastemaker status has made him a fine candidate to release several of his own DJ cds and compilations, and a perfect choice for us to inquire about their favorite year-end records.
