The Fiery Furnaces, or siblings Eleanor and Matthew Friedberger, bring their unique brand of quirky storytelling on the road again. In preparation for their upcoming album Bitter Tea, described as a more poppy counterpart to their '05 outing Rehearsing My Choir (complete with appearances from Grandma Friedberger), the brother and sister combo will be exhibiting their live prowess for most of February and March. With gigs at Coachella and Iceland Airwaves, amongst a bevy of additional dates across the US last fall, Fiery Furnaces never fail at leaving many jaws on the floor with their nonstop spunk. They play their songs in different tempos, people!
