Crime Spree Sweeps Nation, Arab Strap.

The only crime that most of us are guilty of at an Arab Strap show is binge drinking, but sadly crimes of a more violent nature have been following the band on their current US tour.

First in Seattle, their supporting band A Whisper In The Noise was robbed at knife-point, cumulating in their tour manager's teeth being knocked out. Then after their Philadelphia show, $6000 was stolen from their tour manager's bag! Transdreamer Records' Sally Pye commented: "It's a sad day when these things happen. It's so difficult for bands to tour these days and it's literally all of the money for the tour." Your heard her, if you are going to see Arab Strap, make sure and buy a t-shirt.

What have Arab Strap been keeping from us? We've long know of their plan to drink Scotland dry, but are they now involved in drugs, prostitution or racketeering? It's anyone's guess.
