Keane Singer In Rehab The first half of Keane's month-long North American trek has been postponed. The change in plans is so that singer Tom Chaplin can enter England's The Priory for drug and alcohol addiction. The following was posted on the band's website earlier this week: "I've been having to deal with an increasing problem with drink and drugs, and the time has come to get the professional help I need to sort myself out. I feel desperately disappointed to be letting down our fans, but I want to get myself right now so that I can be back on the road for the rest of the year." Although Keane performed last week at England's V Festival, they cancelled 3 other shows due to what was first reported as Chaplin's "exhaustion." Keane are currently supporting their 2nd album, Under the Iron Sea which went in at #4 on The Billboard 200 chart. All shows scheduled after Sept 25th will go ahead as planned. | ![]() |
