Filter's Top 10 of 2006, Day Twenty One: A Shoreline Dream Today’s next installment of our top ten of ’06 comes from Denver-based experimental shoegazers A Shoreline Dream. They were busy this year self-recording and releasing their debut album Avoiding The Consequences. The album features what can be best described as dark yet dreamy poetic soundscapes, with a sound that simultaneously calls to mind Sigur Ros and Placebo. A Shoreline Dream’s frontman, Ryan Policky was kind enough to share with us his favorite records of the year. Ryan Policky of A Shoreline Dream 1. Mew, And The Glass Handed Kites (Columbia) 2.
