Filter Magazine takes to the digital airwaves to bring you the best in new and classic indie music. Every week we present clips of Filter-recommended new bands, a handful of staff-picked classics, our radio singles chart and a featured track presented in its entirety. Filter MagCAST is hosted by rotating duos of Filter staffers, with occasional DJ help from special guests including bands such as Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, our favorite actors, comedians and other interesting ladies and gents.

Uh... Podcast?

If you've somehow missed the hype on podcasting, a podcast is similar to a radio show recorded to an MP3 or similar format. Users can then use iTunes (a free Windows and Mac music player from Apple) or other software to "subscribe" to the audio feed so that new episodes from all their subscriptions are listed in a single place for downloading and listening. You can also copy the shows to CD or your iPod/MP3 player for listening when and where you like.
