You might want to peg rock trio The Sights as just another garage rock band with a "The" in their name, but this Detroit trio pulls off a three-ring circus of styles that goes beyond their years.

On "Circus," the first single off their self-titled third album (out on James Iha's Scratchie Records on April 12), they keep you guessing by starting with a dirty blues dirge, then introducing some Gregg Allman organs and finishing up with a poppy chorus. The band heads out on tour with The Kills in March/April, stopping in Austin for three shows in front of audiences that will undoubtedly dig their Southern rock sound.
