Their newest recordings since 2003's Sumday, Todd Zilla is a project that Jason Lytle started working on while halfway into creating songs for the new full length Grandaddy album. Though you might more recently recognize Lytle by the Below The Radio mix CD he released last year, Grandaddy has released 3 full lengths and toured with heavyweights like the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, while never losing their clout as an innovative college favorite.

In fact, the newest effort, Todd Zilla is a return to the more synth-drenched days of Sophtware Slump and Under The Western Freeway. A precursor to the full length out on V2 in early 2006, the lead track off the EP "Pull The Curtains" is a natural born single a la "Now It's On" from Sumday.
