The Hourly Radio, Travelsigns, MP3 In the very early stages of their career, The Hourly Radio hit the same roadblock that most bands meet in the gesticulation phase; they couldn’t play well enough to cover other people’s songs. So instead of giving up and becoming music journalists, they decided to make their own music. Judging by the early-Radiohead-meets-Mogwai vibe of “Travelsigns”, it’s a plan that has suited them very well. Sold out shows, tours with Stellastarr* and Clap You Hands Say Yeah, and a hotly tipped SXSW appearance have brought the band to our collective attention. Their debut album History Will Never Hold Me lands August 22nd courtesy of Kirtland Records, but you can check out “Travelsigns” right here: | "Travelsigns" MP3 | (Right-click "Save As") | ![]() |
