
The Shins Take Over Television Seattle based indie-poppers the Shins continued their whirlwind year this week with two high-profile television gigs. Today, the four-piece taped a live performance for the WB hit Gilmore Girls, rewarding loyal Los Angeles-based fans with tickets to the show. Two days earlier, the band appeared on Late Night with Conan O'Brien, where they played "So Says I," the first single from Chutes Too Narrow. The album was released last October and quickly became a critics' favorite, showing up on countless "best of 2003" lists.
