UNKLE to Release Second Album Statewide
by Ellen Houlihan | 00.00.0000

Influential British hip-hoppers UNKLE are making their album Never, Never Land available for the first time stateside. The newly-packaged Never, Never Land will include brand new material with several guest musicians.

Stone Roses members Ian Brown and Mani chime in on “Reign,” marking the first collaboration between the two since their band broke up. Mani also can be heard on the track, “In a State.”

Mega-producer Brian Eno joins Pulp’s Jarvis Cocker on dueling synths on “I Need Something Stronger;” Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age and Eagles of Death Metal) provides a frightening vocal on “Safe in Mind;” and Joel Cadbury of South adds a Beatles-esque flavor to the ballad “Glow.”

UNKLE’s commander-in-chief and Mo’ Wax record label founder, James Lavelle will hit the studios this month to work on two additional songs for the record, including a pairing with Ian Astbury of the Cult.
