Decemberists' Meloy Announces Solo Tour

Indie and bookworm favorites the Decemberists recently announced that work on their third full-length album has been completed. The album will be released on March 22 and a tour will follow.

In the meantime though, frontman Colin Meloy will set off on a solo US club tour, beginning on January 13. Throughout the tour, Meloy will be selling an EP of "Morrissey rarities covers." Carson Ellis, who did the cover art for all of the Decemberists’ releases, will be selling limited-edition prints of his artwork at the shows. See below for tour schedule:
