Queens of The Stone Age Announce Tour Josh Homme's rotating band of musicians (no, not Desert Sessions) Queens of The Stone Age have annonced the dates of their first tour in support of the new album Lullabies To Paralyze which will be released March 22 on Interscope. The band have also announced on their official site that Rekords Rekords will be putting out special edition 12" vinyl of the album. Homme is the only original member of the band's first line-up. The band changes started when former bassist Nick Oliveri left the band for unkown reasons though it was hinted there were difficulties in the band's dynamic. Homme also spent more time on his side project Eagles Of Death Metal, even featuring the band at last year's All Tomorrow's Parties in Long Beach, CA. The new studio players are Troy Van Leeuwen, taking over several instrument duites, guitarist Dave Catching, Alain Johannes as bassist, and Joey Castillo on drums. Though press photos only show Homme, Van Leeuwen and Castillo, it has not been announced which members of the studio band will be on tour with Homme.
