New Gorillaz Album Release Date Set

Gorillaz new album Demon Days, will be released in the U.S. on May 3rd via Virgin Records. collaborated with Dan the Automator on Gorillaz's first album, but he has found a new production partner for this album, Danger Mouse, the DJ behind the Jay-Z and Beatles mash-up, The Grey Album. Guests include De La Soul and Neneh Cherry.

Ian Brown gets his own Adidas shoes

The shoes are limited to a run of 5,000 in the UK and are part of the Music Series to celebrate Addidas' 35th Anniversary. He's in quite odd company alongside Missy Elliott, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Run DMC, amongst others. Follow the link below and you'll see a 5-minute video interview with Ian about the shoes. I wish it had subtitles cause you can hardly tell a word he is saying with that thick accent!

Moz Release Dates Changed AGAIN

Both Moz's Live At Earl's Court CD and the Who Put the M in Manchester? live DVD will now be released in the U.S. on March 29th. This better be the last time Sanctuary messes around with the release dates!

Erland Oye And Rachel Goswell For Bread Tribute Album

Kings Of Convenience's Erlend Oye and Mojave 3's Rachel Goswell are among the artists that have contributed to Friends & Lovers: Songs Of Bread, a tribute to '70s soft rock act Bread. Due April 12 via Badman Recording Co., the set features 14 tracks recorded exclusively for this release. Erlend Oye covers the title cut, which was not among Bread's 10 top-20 hits on the Billboard pop singles chart between 1969-1977.

Ian Brown & Noel Gallagher To Perform On Conan

On Wednesday Feb 23rd Ian Brown & Noel Gallagher will perform "Keep What Ya Got" on NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien. The song orginally appears on his latest album Solarized, will be released in the US on Feb 22nd via Koch Records. Btw, you can watch the video for the song here. It's actually quite good visually, and it's got Noel in it too. Ian Brown's North American tour dates are as follows. What do ya wanna bet that Noel makes a "surprise appearance" at the NYC show?

Caesars Set For Return

Caesars are set to release a new album titled Paper Tigers, the U.S release will be April 26th via
Astralwerks. The album "is sure to turn heads with its collection of richly layered, shimmering, pure power pop songs." It was produced by Caesars' leader Joakim Ahlund and mixed by Michael H. Brauer (Coldplay, Bob Dylan, Aimee Mann, Rolling Stones) and features new Brauer remix of "Jerk It Out" which can currently be heard on the iPod shuffle commercial. The song originally appeared on their previous album 39 Minutes Of Bliss (In An Otherwise Meaningless World).
