These loveable rouges aren't quite the wallflowers their moniker might admit. The SoCal quartet specializes in Iggy-esque howls, fuzzed out grooves, topped off with bourbon and sweat soaked passions for straight up rock & roll.

Soon the TV watching public will get to see it for themselves, as The Shys will have their first video "Call In The Cavalry"--taken from their upcoming album Astoria--premiere on MTV's new series "Fast Inc." The new series showcases the trials and escapades of vintage car repair crew, and The Shys just so happen to be the band supplying the theme track.

Tune in tonight at 10:30 PM PST/EST to hear the band play the show's theme, and also 2 other songs "Never Gonna Die" and "Madly In Action" off the new album will be played. Be sure to watch the entire show to see The Shys new video for "Call In The Cavalry."

The band's debut, Astoria, will be available for digital download on June 20 via iTunes and will be in stores on July 11, 2006. The band will also be playing a few one-off US dates through the summer before they take of to tour the UK.
