Okkervil River Recruit Musicians for Youtube Channel

Austin's Okkervil River are building the anticipation of their new record, The Stand Ins, by having musician friends be their "stand ins" with their very own Youtube channel.  Fans can watch artists such as Bon Iver, David Vandervelde, and Jack Ladder perform their renditions of songs.  There's even a duet with A.C. Newman and frontman Will Sheff on current single "Lost Coastlines."

You can stream the album version of "Lost Coastlines" from their official website.  The Stand Ins makes its way to stores September 9, but if the anticipation is just too much, you can preorder through Jagjaguwar.
